So, basically I tried the tool with multiple (singleplayer) game .exe files. but it always shows Just those two lines:

[Steamless] Failed to unpack File
My settings:
Plugin: Automatic

Just tell me if I am dumb and how to use it correctly... thanks

Games I tried: Portal, Half-life 1, Subanutica

Portal and Half Life do not use SteamStub. I do not know for Subanutica though, but if it's just straight-up failing it's more than likely not using it.
You can upload the exe to somewhere and link it here and I can look though.
