Please note: tUnlocker is no longer publicly updated / released. If you wish to obtain an updated copy of tUnlocker, it will cost money. I am no longer updating or releasing projects for Terraria publicly for free.

(The burn, slow, etc. effects.) ..:: How to use tUnlocker? ::.. Place tUnlocker.exe and Mono.Cecil.dll inside your Terraria folder where your Terraria.exe is located. Then just run tUnlocker.exe and it will do the rest. :) ..:: Advanced Usage ::.. tUnlocker has command line options to tell it how you wish to use it. You can use any of the following: --version : Tells tUnlocker to only display the version info. --backup : Tells tUnlocker to make a backup of your Terraria.exe (Saves as Terraria.exe.bak) --newexe : Tells tUnlocker to override your current Terraria.exe with the new patched version. --nolaunch : Tells tUnlocker to not auto-launch Terraria after patching. --nohide : Tells tUnlocker to not hide its console after launching Terraria. ..:: How does tUnlocker work? ::.. tUnlocker uses Mono.Cecil to modify the game at runtime. This means that it DOES NOT modify your game executable at all. (Unless you tell it to.) tUnlocker modifies the following functions: - Terraria.Main.Draw - Terraria.Player.PlayerFrame - Terraria.Player.UpdatePlayer - Terraria.Steam.Init - Terraria.Steam.Kill tUnlocker scans for patterns that signify where the developer gear checks are implemented and then removes them by "noping" (or null-opertion) them. tUnlocker saves a modifed copy of Terraria.exe, if requested, which includes all the patches done already. This means if you choose to create the new exe, you do not have to run tUnlocker again! Your Terraria.exe will be fully patched and replaced with the new copy. tUnlocker will work with other mods using this method! ..:: Is tUnlocker detectable? ::.. Not directly. Terraria has no anti-cheat implemented. Terraria also does not use VAC or any other anti-cheat. TShock can detect what gear you have equipped, so you can be detected on servers that implement TShock. ..:: Legal Info ::.. Terraria (c) Redigit / www.terraria.org I, atom0s, claim no ownership to the trademark Terraria or any of its content, data, images, etc. ..:: tUnlocker License ::.. tUnlocker is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. tUnlocker is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
